My parents were young adults in the Great Depression. I have spent a lifetime making up for their frugality, but I still squeeze the last little glob out of the tube.
Did not know Colgate owned Tom's of Maine. Thanks a lot, Heath. Not. First Ben and Jerry's ice cream and Unilever and now Tom's of Maine? :(
Tom’s was bought by Colgate in 2006, but they’ve tried to do their best to make you think it’s still a Mom and Pop brand. Very similar to Ben & Jerry’s, before this big flare up with Ben Cohen that’s made the ownership more obvious
There are probably more than a few of us micro-conscientious savers around; can totally relate to that last squeeze. Burt's Bees owned by Clorox?! Boo. Elon not using his money to help humanity? Double boo.
Just a suggestion: take the BB out of your travel bag. Put it with your cleaning supplies. Apparently it can be used for all kinds of things, like filling little nail holes and polishing some stuff.

I had no idea there were more uses for toothpaste than just cleaning teeth! Thank you!
You should try www.bastetritual.com
Thanks! Is the hefty price tag worth it?
100% because of the formula!
Today I learned Burt’s Bees make toothpaste. I think they’re purely a lip balm company in the U.K.!
They have their name on lots of things over here- even baby wipes!
Heath I think it's a testament to the New Englander in you! 😉
Ha! I suppose that is a Yankee trait
