Even More Roadside Signs (Member Bonus Post)
Writing about the history of roadside signs took more than a month of research and involved several field trips. This post includes extra photos, commentary, and links.
I hope you enjoyed reading my most recent newsletter issue, looking at the 400 year old origins of roadside signage. That post started with me curiously purchasing a book at the Old Sturbridge Village gift shop about New England country taverns and ended up taking more than a month to research and photograph. I also brought in photos from my travels over the last 15+ years, especially vintage motel neon signs from the American Southwest.
This post features more than 25 additional photos from my travels with some light commentary and additional links.
